When Castro turned to Communism, Morgan denounced him. Morgan was executed by firing squad on March 11, 1961 for allegedly running guns to anti-Communist guerillas. He was buried in a cemetery in Cuba. The Cuban government has promised to find his remains and return them to his widow in Toledo, Ohio. (bio by: Erik Lander)
