MRS. BAUTE, 67, TAKEN BY DEATH
Well-Known Resident of Waymansville Dies After Long Illness.

Mrs. Charlotte Baute, 67, widow of John Baute, died at 5:30 o'clock this morning in the county hospital. She had been ill more than a year and was in the county hospital at various times for treatment. Death was attributed to cancer.

Mrs. Baute was born and reared in the Waymansville community and lived there until last December, when she came here to make her home. She was a member of the Waymansville Evangelical Lutheran church and was active in the church work until her health failed.

Surviving are a son, Ebert of Anderson; seven grandchildren and four brothers, Fred Rediker of this city, Henry and William of California and Louis of Kansas.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Waymansville Lutheran church, conducted by the Rev. Robert Schulz. Burial will be made in the Waymansville Lutheran cemetery.

The casket will be open at the Barkes and Albright funeral home from noon Saturday until going to the church.
