Byron Edwin Hudson, well known resident of the Milford Area, died at his home 3420 South Milford road on New's Day after an illness of seven months.
Mr. Hudson was born in Milford township on April 11, 1875 and lived his entire life in this community. He was a farmer by occupation and was at one time a leading auto dealer. He was a member of the Milford Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 pm at the Richardson Bbird Funeral home in Milford with burial at the Oak Grove Cemetary, Rev. Robert Worgess will be officiating clergman.
Mr. Hudson is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruth M. Hudson, six children, three step-children, a brother, and twenty grandchildren. The children are Harold E. Hudson of Milford, Mrs. Hazel Baughman of Webberville, Mrs. Ruby Tandy of Detroit, Mrs. Lottie Brown of Pontiac, Garner E. Hudson of Milford, and Mrs. Olive Tapp of South Lyon. The step-children are George Daniel Mikedis of Wayne, Mrs. Helen Parker of Wayne, and Edwin Joel Mikedis of the U. S. Army, now in Bamberg, Germany. Mr. Frank Hudson of Milford is a brother.
