The funeral service of Mrs. Viola Tabor, who passed away last Friday night at the house of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Nickelsen, were conducted Sunday afternoon at Asbury Methodist Episcopal church by the pastor, Rev. W. B. Young.

Mrs. Tabor was 22 years of age. She was a graduate of the high school, a popular member of the class of 1912. Members of the class acted as pallbearers. Mrs. Tabor's death was caused by tuberculosis. Year before last she spent several months at Phoenix, Ariz., hoping that the climate would benefit her health. While in Arizona she met W. H. Tabor, of Long Beach, Calif. The meeting resulted in a romance, culminating in their wedding. Mr. Tabor survives.

During the year of her graduation from the high school Mrs. Tabor was president of the student body and was Smile editor of The Mascot. In 1911 she was a member of the debating team which won the championship of mid-Columbia high schools.

In addition to her parents she is survived by a brother, Lowell, and five sisters, Gertrude, Vernita, Olive, Genevra and Verlene. Miss Gertrude is a student at the Oregon State Normal at Monmouth, and the brother is a student of the local high school.

The funeral was directed by the Anderson Undertaking Co.
