Henry Tedrow.
Henry Tedrow, son of Joseph and Barbara Tedrow, was born in Summerset Co., Penn.. February 2, 1822, and died at his home, one mile north of Woodburn, Iowa, July 4,1905, aged eighty-three years, five months and two days.

At the age of ten years he moved with his parents to Athens county, Ohio, where his early years were spent. He was united in marriage to Harriet M. Root March 16, 1818. They emigrated to Clarke county, Iowa, in 1856 and remained in this county until his death.

Twelve children wore born to this union, Francis M., Sarah J., Carson, Edwin E. and Rosmer R. Lamoree having preceded him to the better land. Mattie A. Hoko of Wing, Ill; Iva M. Doughty and Lizzie Fagot of Lexington, Nebr., Hattie Scott of Overton, Nebr., Olive Pago and Leroy E. Tedrow of Woodburn, Iowa, were present at the funeral. Pollie M. Clark of Humphreys Missouri, and James H. Tedrow of Teller, Col., were unable to attend.

The deceased had been a member of the Masonic fraternity for thirty-nine years and his brethren in the order had charge of the funeral services, which were held at the M. E. church, of which organization the deceased had been a
member fifty-seven years. Rev. Edwards, the pastor in charge, conducted the services and the remains were laid at rest in the Ottawa cemetery to await the summons of the great day.
