Death:	Dec. 15, 1949 Boston Suffolk County Massachusetts, USA
Spanish-American War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He entered the US Navy at New York and served as a Chief Gunner's Mate. His citation reads: "On board the USS Marblehead at the approaches to Caimanera, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, 26 and 27 July 1898.
