ROSE A. HANSMAN

Rose A. Hansman, 86, of 111 E. 1st, Carroll, died Sunday at St. Anthony Regional Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Spirit Church with Msgr. Leo Lenz, V.F. officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Willey.

Pallbearers will be Larry Hansman, Robert Hansman, Duane Behrens, Arthur Behrens, George Grossman Jr. and Harold Sibenaller.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. Rosaries will be recited at 3:15 p.m. by the Legion of Mary, 8 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Hansman, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Kraus) Achatz, was born February 7, 1892 in Carroll. Her marriage to John Hansman took place February 18, 1914 at SS Peter and Paul Church with Rev. Kuemper officiating.

She was a member of Holy Spirit parish and the Legion of Mary.

Survivors include three sons, Melvin of Seattle, Lauris (Ed) of Carroll and Robert of Omaha; four daughters, Mrs. George (Marcella) Grossman of Coon Rapids, Mrs. Phyllis Sibenaller, Mrs. Donald (Arlene) Behrens and Mrs. James (Margaret) Behrens, all of Carroll; 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, in 1937, one son, Leroy, two brothers, Rev. John Achatz and Joseph Achatz and one sister, Mrs. Ben (Mary) Roth.
