Ginger Whittaker Bragg, 42, of Glade Springs died Sunday, July 5, 2009 at her home following a long illness. Born October 15, 1966 in Beckley, she is the daughter of Jack Whittaker of Rocky Gap, Virginia and Jewell Ward Whittaker of Beckley.

Ginger was a loving mother and daughter who attended the Church of God and also severed as an officer of the Whittaker family's corporations and was a 1984 Graduate of Hinton High School. Because of her love and concern for children Ginger and her mother were in the process of forming the Brandi Bragg Foundation for troubled children at the time of her death.

Preceded in death by her first husband; Gary Wayne Bragg on August 18, 1991 and her daughter; Brandi LaSha Bragg on December 5, 2004.

Besides her parents she is survived by her husband of 7 years; Brian McMann of Beckley and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Bishop Cecil Welch officiating. Entombment will follow in the Quesenberry Cemetery at Streeter. Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral parlors.

Tony Scott, Billy Ray Wright, Joey Eldridge, Chase Whittaker, Billy Whittaker Jr. and Mike Garletts will serve as pallbearers. Adam and Chris Marcum, Jim Nelson Jr., Jessie Whittaker and Peanut Scott will serve as honorary pallbearers. Jewell will be receiving friends at the home of Danny and Carolyn Foster located on Colonial Manner Drive in Jumping Branch prior to the visitation.
