Larry O. Carter, 69 of Hurley, MS. passed away February 11, 2009 in George County, MS. Larry was born on July 2, 1939 in Hurley MS. He was the owner and operator of Air Conditioning Specialist, an avid fisherman, and attended Full Life Assembly of God Church in Hurley, MS. He was a veteran with the United States Army. He was also a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earlie McBride Sr. and Loda Mae Carter, his brothers Earlie (Earl) McBride Jr., Carley Jarrold Carter, Charles Byron (Tinky) Carter, Jerry Lynn (Lenny) Carter.

He is survived by his wife Corma Lee Carter of Hurley, daughters Renata (Dewayne) Richardson of Hurley, Tammy (Brandon) Stringfellow of Agricola, his son Larry M. (Sharon) Carter of Agricola. His grandchildren Michael and Randalee Richardson of Hurley, Kendall and Dylan Carter, Lexie and Baby Stringfellow, Maggie Emerson and Emily Vayda, all of Agricola. his sister Gay (Bobby) Goff of Agricola. Larry also had many nieces, nephews and piles of children that have adopted him as their own. Christy Cushman (Steve) Butler, Eric and Savannah Moss, Lily and Aaron Butler all of Agricola.

Visitation will be Saturday February 14, 2009 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Full Life Assembly of God Church in Hurley, MS; funeral service will begin at 11:00am from the church sanctuary with Rev James (Jimbo) Reed and Rev. Jesse Ray officiating, burial will follow in Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church cemetery in Hurley. Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. in charge of arrangements locally owned and operated.
