Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Hosselton-Bookhout-Engelmeier Funeral Home in Noble. Visitation will be from noon-2:30 p.m. Friday Aug. 7. Burial will be in Hanna Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell was born on Feb. 9, 1905, in Richland County, the daughter of James and Elva (Wilkerson) Fulk. She married C. Hayden Mitchell on Sept. 17, 1931, in Chicago. He died in 1978.
Survivors include three sons, James Mitchell of Ashland, J. Donald Mitchell of Pleasant Plains and Carl Mitchell of Buffalo; six brothers, Charlie Fulk of Columbia, Ga., Adrian Fulk of Los Gatos, Calif., Everett Fulk of Noble, Carwin Fulk of Olney, Ray Fulk of Pinckneyville and Matt Fulk of Effingham; three sisters, Bessie Warner and Ruth Brown, both of Toledo, and Jessie Lockard of Port Ritchey, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, a grandson and two sisters.
