Deceased Name: MILAN O. CULVER

A memorial service for Milan D. Culver of Aloha will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of St. Johns Funeral Home. Private interment will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Culver died of lung problems Tuesday in a Portland hospital at age 76.

He was born April 25, 1914, in Cheney, Wash., where he was reared and graduated from high school. He had lived in the Portland area for about 50 years.

Mr. Culver worked as a chef for Union Pacific Railroad and later owned and operated a pair of local restaurants, including Flo's Restaurant in the St. Johns district, for about 20 years until his retirement about 10 years ago. His wife, Wanda Culver, died in 1982.

Survivors include his daughters, Dana Lint of Portland, Kitty Sperry and Dixie Staggenborg, both of Aloha, and Donna Fridley of Pennsylvania; son, Robert of Aloha; brother, Clinton of Tucson, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
