Salutatorian of her Lincoln High School class in 1955 and a graduate of Grove City College, PA with a degree in chemistry, Mary Ann came to Cleveland OH to work for Sohio. There she met her husband, Thomas Andrews. Her first married years were spent in a home at 10510 Prince Ave, Cleveland; the last 24 years of her life they lived on Brainard Rd in Orange Village.
After the birth of her two children, Elizabeth (Liz) and Barbara (Barbie), she went back to work for Higbee's (later Dillards's) Department Store, eventually becoming a store manager.
Mary Ann and Thomas shared a love of American Art Pottery, and were active in collecting/dealing. Her special favorite was Lenox. In the summers, they also loved driving out to Drum Corps International shows.
Mary Ann was a very private person and notoriously camera shy. She was known for her intelligence and love of reading (especially mysteries).
