Age:67 yrs; md Alice Adams;Co. F 33rd NY Inf Civil War. Believed to be the son of Almerick and Lydia (Barnard) Stebbins, Dansville, Livingston Co., NY. Obit taken from: "The Evening NEws" North Tonwanda, NY Wed. Aug 7, 1907:Edwin Stebbins, age 67 years, died last evening at his home at 27 Delaware street after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Stebbins had lived in Tonawanda for three years, but as he had been employed by the Erie railroad as bridge foreman for about 25 years prior to coming here, he was well known in this city. All who knew him loved and respected him. The deceased was a Civil War veteran. He is survived by a widow, two sons, Ralph of Tonawanda and Karl of Mendota, Wis., and one daughter, Mrs. E. D. Oakes, of Rochester. The remains will be removed to his former home at Attica, tomorrow evening.
