David M. Hudachko 1952-2009

MAGNOLIA óDavid M. Hudachko, 57, of Magnolia, formerly of Streator, died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 8, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, Fla.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen's Church, Streator, with Monsignor John Prendergast officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Streator. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.

He was born Jan. 24, 1952, in Streator, to Michael and Catherine (Brennan) Hudachko. He married Debbie Tremblay Poole Jan. 23, 2004, in Key West, Fla. She survives.

Dave was employed as the operations manager of Tomkat Roofing, Streator. He was a member of St. Stephen's Church, Harley Owners Group and the Magnolia Town Board. He attended St. Stephen's Grade School and was a graduate of Streator High School, class of 1970.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Hudachko, Magnolia; three daughters, Stacy (Tracy) Heider, North Port, Fla., Stephanie (Jack) Myers, Springfield, and Sandy (Charlie) Rath, Streator; one son, Shawn (Anglea) Hudachko, Oceanside, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Shelly Poole, Deadhorse, Alaska, two stepsons, Kenneth (Annette) Poole, Depue, and Randy (Randi) Poole, Magnolia; and three sisters, Diane Vega, Bloomington, Denise (Todd) Brzycki, Milwaukee, Wis., and Dona (Bill) Knapp Deemer, New Berlin, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John in infancy.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Hudachko, Randy Poole, Tracy Heider, Jack Myers, Charlie Rath, Bill Deemer, Todd Brzycki and Mathias Knapp.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Central Illinois Branch, 108 Boeykens Place, Suite 2A, Normal IL 61761.
