Albert Lee Brown was with the U.S. Army troops to land on Luzon n the Philippines on 9 Feb 1945. He was an EC5 Medic with the 108th Infantry Medical Detachment an was killed in action on 9 February 1945. He was trying to get wounded soldiers off the battlefield when a sniper's bullet killed him. Albert was not married. His name is listed on a monument in Newport, Arkansas.
