OBITUARY FOR:

HANSEN—-Marie M., aged 82 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs.. Lizzie Mathisen, Dellwood Ave.Tuesday, May 15, 1928. She in survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Maathisen of Joliet. Mrs. Katie Moldt and Mrs. Pearl Petersen of Chester, lowa, and Mrs. Christine Seivensen of Denmark. three sons, Peter, Charles and William Hansen, all of Elwood, Illinois, sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The remains will be at the Chamberlin and Sloan Chapel, 617 Clinton St., until Thursday, May 17, 1928, at 11 a. m., at which time they will he taken to the Elwood Presbyterian church where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Mr. Dorsey officiating. Burial in Maple Hill.

Pneumonia Fatal to -
Mrs. Marie Hansen
Mrs. Marie Hansen, 82 years old, widow of the late Andrew Hansen, Elwood farmer, died of pneumonia this morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Mathisen, Dellwood Avenue. She had been ill two weeks.
A native of Denmark, Mrs. Hansen came to this country 47 years ago. Most of the time since coming to America she resided in Elwood, Illinois with the exception of a few years passed in Iowa, where her husband died.
For the past two years she made her home with her daughter in Joliet township.
Those who survive are: Four daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Mathiesen of Joliet township, Mrs. Katie Moldt and Mrs. Pearl Petersen of Chester, Iowa, and Mrs. Christine Seivensen of Denmark: three sons, Peter, Charles, and William Hansen, all of Elwood: 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The body will repose in Chamberlin and Sloan's chapel, 617 Clinton Street, until Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Services will be held in the Elwood Presbyterian church at 1:30 o'clock Thursday, the Rev. Mr. Dorsey officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery in that village.
