NAHUNTA -- Cathryn Dixon Middleton, 78, died Aug. 24, 2001 at Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta (Brantley Co).

She was a native of Ocoee, Orange Co, Fla. but had lived most of her life in Pierce County. She was a homemaker and a member of Waynesville Church of God, where she was a former Sunday school teacher.

SURVIVORS: five sons, David Dixon of Blackshear, Larry Dixon of Callahan, Fla., and Mike, Robert and Rocky Dixon, all of Atkinson; two daughters, Susan Dixon of Callahan and Cathy Morgan of Waynesville; three brothers, Theron Kimbrell of Maxville, Fla., Shirley Kimbrell of Waycross and Donald Kimbrell of Blackshear; 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home, Blackshear.

FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, burial in the Enon Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
