Mrs. Magnus was born in Belt, Mont., and had lived in Hillsboro since 1942. She moved to Forest Grove a year ago. She worked for the Birds Eye Cannery in Hillsboro for 16 years and worked for seven years at Haleys Restaurant. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and the Hillsboro American Legion Post.
Surviving are daughters, Delores Sturm of Troutdale and Lois McGee of Cornelius; brothers, Herman Brown of Hillsboro, and George and William Brown, both of Aitkin, Minn.; sisters, Hattie Severson and Hazel Maderos, both of Hillsboro; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens in Portland.
