Dennis Mark Moose, 49, of Troutman, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at Iredell Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was born March 19, 1960, in Iredell County, to the late Lonnie Marshall and Margaret Louise Cook Moose. Mr. Moose was a member of Troutman Church of God and attended Troutman Elementary/Middle schools and South Iredell High School.
He worked at Burlington Mills until he became disabled.
Mr. Moose is survived by his brother, Joel Lynn Moose, of Troutman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Eddie Carl Moose; his maternal grandparents, Rock and Minnie Lee Blackwelder Cook; his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Mary Belle Cloer Moose; and a special aunt, Geneva C. Speaks. A visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Conner Lambert officiating.
