SANFORD TRIBUNE - 27 December 1907:

Mrs. Roxanna Goodwin, age 84, died very suddenly last Saturday evening at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Eugene Gerry.
She had, apparently, been enjoying her usual health up to last Saturday evening when she became suddenly ill and passed away in very short time after.
She was the widow of Daniel Gowen.
She resided at Sanford the greater part of her life. She was well and favorably known and will be mourned by a wide circle of friends.
Interment in Oakdale Cemetery.
