Craig Shirley was a 2006 graduate of Kelly Walsh High School. Besides his father, Craig Shirley is survived by his mother, Marsha, and two siblings.

His funeral will be held at the Casper First Nazarene Church, 2020 S. Jefferson St., at 3 p.m. Thursday. Bustard's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorial services for Craig David Shirley will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2020 So. Jefferson. Viewing will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bustard's Funeral Home.

Craig David Shirley, 23, was born in Casper, WY on Friday, July 3, 1987. He went to spend Christmas with the Lord, Friday, December 24, 2010. He passed away at WMC after a tragic snowboarding accident on Casper Mountain. He was the beloved son of Brad and Marsha Shirley. Craig graduated from KW in 2006 and received a certificate for heavy equipment operator from McMurry training school.

Craig was a strong believer in the Lord and witnessed to many people. He always wanted to do the right thing and he had a passion for helping others. He was an amazing athlete and loved snowboarding, BMX, racing motocross and football.

He was very social and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Craig's death was a shocking and devastating event that impacted many lives, but Craig died doing what he absolutely loved, snowboarding. He was employed by Franks Westates Service and worked on the casing crew at the time of his death of his death. Craig was also a Monavie distributor, which is a healthy fruit drink. Craig was famous for his Monavie smoothies that he was always happy to make for his friends and family. Everyone who knew Craig loved him and he will always be close in our hearts.

He is survived by his parents, his brother, Jacob Shirley of Bend, OR and his sister Marcy Shirley of Casper, his grandparents Ben and Dawn Benjamin, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many wonderful friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and great grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shirley Educational Fund.
