Louise was born in Amarillo, TX and was the daughter of W. E. and Annie (Kirk) Dickey. She married Prentis O'Dell Wiles on April 29, 1950, in Hobbs, N.M. Since her husband was a career military man, they lived in many different places. She finally settled in McAlester in 1967. She did volunteer work with the Pittsburg County Genealogical and History Society and at the library. She was of the Baptist faith. She passed away at her home at the age of 78. Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Prentis Eugean Wiles, of Dallas, Kelly Wiles, of Dallas, and Keith and Janice Wiles, of Dallas; one daughter, Sharon Turner, of McAlester; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. J. P. Hackler officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.
