Viola Nix Alexander, 88, wife of the late Doyle T. Alexander, of 2208 Pickens Highway, West Union, SC, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at her residence.
A native of Salem, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Mack Nix and Lona Moore Nix. Mrs. Alexander was retired from Pratt-Reid Company, Central, SC and was a member of Little River Baptist Church.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by daughters, Kathleen A. Morgan and her husband, Larry, and Eloise Alexander of West Union, SC; brother Ralph Nix of Hazel Green, AL; sisters, Leora Crawford of Anderson, SC and Pauline Bryson of Central, SC; grandson Michael Morgan and his wife, Lara of Dacula, GA ; and three great-grandchildren.
In addtion to her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Walter Nix.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May 18, 2009 from Alexander Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM, Monday, May 18, 2009 at Davenport Funeral Home.
