An early canvas of the cemetery identified a partially buried sandstone marker just south of the Benjamin Tempel monument with the caption 'Mother' and 'Sarah M., Born June 24, 1838'. Later canvases and walk-thrus of the cemetery could not locate the grave stone. The 1850 census of Seneca Co. Ohio gives her birth year as 1836. The widow Temple was later married to William T. Temple (possibly a brother of Benjamin) on Sept. 22, 1884 in Williams Co. Ohio.
