Aaron was born May 5, 1982 in Idaho Falls, to David Egan and Alysia Byington Egan. He grew up in the area and attended schools there. He graduated from Jefferson Alternative High School.
On July 5, 2006, he married Natasha Lee Myrdahl in Idaho Falls. Together they have two daughters.
Aaron worked as a truck driver for Robert Chandler, Western, Danco and Eagle Rock Sanitation.
He enjoyed reading, playing computer games, hunting, camping and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, going bowling, singing karaoke, playing with his daughters, playing with his animals and mud digging. He was fondly known as a "hillbilly" or a "hellbilly."
Survivors include his wife, Natasha Lee Myrdahl Egan, of Idaho Falls; daughters, Rose Murie Egan, 4, and Becky Joe Egan, 2, both of Idaho Falls; parents, David Egan and Alysia Egan; brothers, Demian (Tiffany) Egan, Kristan (Ashley) Egan and Kenyon (Elizabeth) Egan; sister, Trena Vee Savoie; and grandmother, Betty Byington.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merlin Egan, Ida Egan and Keith Byington.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at the Ririe LDS Stake Center, 14061 N. 130 East, in Ririe. The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Wood East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
