He began his career in the 1950s, singing in a harmony group with his brothers tilted The Crosby Boys, which appeared on several TV variety programs. As an actor, he was best known for the role of Officer Ed Wells on NBC's TV "Adam 12", 1968 to 1975 and being a regular on the TV "The Match Game" show. For feature films, he co-starred with Elvis Presley in "Girl Crazy" (1965). He also was the author of the best selling autobiography "Going My Way" (1983), which revealed the impact of his early life with his brothers, father and mother.
