Ole Gilbertson, 82, retired farmer who had lived in the town of Sun Prairie more than 30 years, died today in a Madison hospital after a year's illness. He was born in Norway and came to this country 54 years ago. Survivors are his widow, Caroline; four sons, Gust, of Sumner, WA; Ole of Madison; Albert of Sun Prairie; and Carl of Edgerton; three daughters, Mrs. F. R. Potter of Sumner, WA; Mrs. A. Fleury of Madison; and Tillie of Madison; a brother, Sever Severson of Sun Prairie; 16 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p. m. in the Jones and Tuschen Funeral Home, Sun Prairie and at 2 p.m. in the Sun Prairie Lutheran Church of Burke, of which Mr. Gilbertson was a member. The Rev. J. O. Tweten, pastor of the church, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. WSJ 12/21/1940
