He graduated from St. Paul’s College in Concordia, Missouri in 1926.
He served in Lusk, Wyoming; Keeline, Wyoming; Crawford, Harrison and Beemer for seven years and at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington for 23 years until his retirement in August, 1970. He then moved to Danville, Illinois. where he conducted weekly services as Lutheran Visitation Pastor at the Danville Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He was survived by his wife; a daughter; a brother; and a sister.
