Agnes was beautiful--with golden hair. She eloped with her first cousin, George Buckley, son of her uncle, Patrick Buckley and his wife, Mary (Reed) Buckley. They ran away to the San Francisco vaudeville stage. At the time of her parents death in spring of 1916, Agnes was Mrs. Agnes Myers living in Seattle Washington. By 1928, Agnes had resumed her maiden name and was living in Los Angeles where she passed away in September of 1950.
She was the daughter of Thomas J. Buckley of Covington, KY, and Peoria, Illinois, and Rose (Rosa) E. Coffey Buckley of the same cities. Both parents were born in Ireland--Thomas in County Cork and Rose in County Monaghan. Rose was born in 1846 and Thomas' date of birth is uncertain. Both immigrated with parents as small children and died in spring of 1916 in Stuttgart, Arkansas. They are buried in the Catholic cemetery in Stuttgart.
