DONNIE DAVIDSON GIBBS AMBROSE, 77, of Manteo, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 1994, in a Norfolk nursing home. Mrs. Ambrose, a native of Hyde County, NC, was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Maggie Adams Davidson and widow of John T. Ambrose. She was the former owner and operator of Harbor Light Nursing Home in Manteo and was a member of First Assembly of God. Mrs. Ambrose is survived by two sons, James Ray Gibbs and Henry Gibbs, both of Wanchese, NC; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
