Loretta P. Waters, 89, of Elyria, died Thursday morning at Elyria Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was formerly employed by Bendix-Westinghouse Corp., Elyria.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Elyria, for 41 years, The Elizabeth Stevens Society of the church, the Elyria's Women's Club, the Pioneer and the Education and Public Affairs Departments of the club, the Elyrai YWCA, the Holly League of the YWCA, and the Elyria Ki-Queens.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Arthur H., and a nephew, Richard L. Gates of Sheboygan, Wisc.

Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. at the Dicken Funeral Home, Elyria.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. G. Mae Booth officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn, Elyria.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
