Harold Isaac Hubbs, 67, of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Sigourney died Friday July 7, 1995, at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas, following a lingering illness.
He was born August 22, 1927, near Ollie to Frank and Irene Estes Hubbs. He attended Ollie school. In July of 1950 he was married to Gladys Fry in Sigourney. They later divorced. He has lived in the Sigourney area most of his life where he had a upholstery business. He attended the Baptist Church in Sigourney. He also served in the Navy during World War II.
He is survived by two daughters, Polly Hubbs of Washington state and Kay Hubbs of Peoria, Illinois; and one son, Wayne Hubbs of Haiti; three grandchildren, one brother, Frank of Kingman, Arizona; and one sister, Evelyn Lee of Webster. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marie Ingle.
Graveside services will be held today (Wednesday July 19, 1995) at the Keota Cemetery in Keota. Rev. Frances Baumert will officiate.
Powell Funeral Home in Keota is in charge of arrangements.
