Gladys Delaine Madden, 72, moved to her Heavenly home after a long illness on December 15, 2010 in Corpus Christi. She was born August 18, 1938 in Kingsville to Fritz and Lucille Donaho Pundt. She retired from Texas Department of Human Services. Gladys was raised in Orange Grove, raised her family in Brownwood, also lived in Austin for 10 years and then returned to Orange Grove in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Mark Madden.
Survivors include her daughter, Jana Madden of Orange Grove; her son, Mike (Toni Makuta) Madden of Orange Grove; three grandchildren, Jason Madden, Holly Madden and Hannah Madden and one great grandson, Luke Madden.
Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 18th from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 4:00 p.m. to 7::00 p.m. at Holmgreen Mortuary in Alice.
A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in Bear Creek Cemetery near Euless. A Celebration of Life service will be held January 8, 2011 at West Shore Baptist Church
