Rob Pilatus
Birth: Jun. 8, 1965, Germany
Death: Apr. 2, 1998
Hessen, Germany

Singer, Entertainer. One half of the pop group Milli Vanilli. Rob was born in New York in 1965 son of an American soldier and a German mother. He grew up in Munich, Germany. He began his career as a model and dancer before joining Milli Vanilli in 1988. In 1989 they won a grammy for the Album Girl You Know It's True, which was then stripped from them because it was found out that they didn't sing a note on the album. After this happened Rob and Fab tried to make a comeback by coming out with an album they themselves sang on, but it bombed and they went their own ways and this is where the trouble for Rob began. He began to take drugs and drink alot. In 1996 he was arrested for assaulting a man with a metal lamp base and again for breaking into a parked car. Then in April of 1998, Rob was found dead in a Frankfurt hotel room of a drug and alcohol overdose. He was 32 yrs old.
