son of Maja Kajsa Sten born Aug.13 1842 in Malax, Finland and Johan Robert Johan-Israelsson Berg born Feb.6,1843 in Petalax,Finland. Carl came to the U.S. around 1900. Carl married on May 19, 1906 to Anna Swarvar. Carl and Anna had 11 children. Carl b.1906, Wilfred b.1908, Anna Linnea b.1911, Harold b.1913, Frederick b.1915, Norman b.1917, Jack b.1919, Leonard b.1921, Arthur b.1924 and Dorothy b.1926.
Carl F. Berg, 65 years old, 615 Wesley St., an employee of the Brunswick-Balke Collender Company for the past 32 years was stricken with a heart attack at the plant this forenoon and died shortly after being taken home.
Born April 21, 1881 in Finland, he came to America and Muskegon in 1901. He attended the Samuel Lutheran Church.
He was married May 21, 1906 to the former Miss Anna S. Swarvar.
He leaves the widow, nine sons, Egnar, Wilfred, George, Harold, Frederick, Norman, Jack, Leonard and Arthur; two daughters, Miss Dorothy and Miss Linnea; one brother, William; one sister Mrs. Sophia Bjorklund and 8 grandchildren, all of Muskegon.
