Legendary, Academy-Award winning motion picture writer, director, and producer of the 1920s thru 1980s. Won Oscars for the classic films "The Lost Weekend" (1945), "Sunset Blvd." (1950), and "The Apartment" (1950). He also wrote and directed the timeless comedy "Some Like it Hot," starring Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, and Marilyn Monroe. He was and is a true Hollywood icon. (bio by: A.J. Marik)

Mr. Wilder,Thank-you for "Some Like It Hot!" A True "Work of Art. I'm glad that you're in such good company, what with your headstone being in between Walter Matthau, Jack Lemmon and Carrol O'Conner. Remembering you 11 years later, may you rest in peace!
