His Will was prorated in Sept 1821 so He probably died sometime in Aug. 1821. He married Nancy Hill daughter of Henry Hill and Sarah Cotten-Hill on 14 May, 1793 in Wilkes Co., GA. There is much to say about William in that he was a Justice of the Peace, a High Sheriff and was in the Revolutionary War. ranked Capt. according to his grave stone. He was known as "Col". He and his wife Nancy had 10 Children.
