Ila Sue Handley, of Tulsa, a former El Reno resident. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2000 in the First Christian Church of El Reno; Rev. Pat Sutherlin, Pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery in Chickasha, OK. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home, 100 N. Barker, El Reno, OK. Ms. Handley died on July 31 in Tulsa after an extended battle with cancer. She was born on April 22, 1942 in Chickasha, OK. Sue grew up in Chickasha and El Reno and had lived in Kileen, TX and Bakersfield, CA and the last few years in Tulsa. She was retired from
Occidental Petroleum as a Human Resources Associate with 25 years of service. Sue was a member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by: 2 daughters, Denise Emberson and fiance, Bobby Jack and Dusti Barham and husband, Michael; granddaugter, Carli Emberson and grandson, Chance Barham, all of Tulsa; 3 aunts; and numerous other relatives and friends. Sue had lived her life with grace and dignity and will be forever missed.
