Hans P. Luetcke, a former resident of Sedona, Ariz., died Sept. 20, 2007 in Willcox, Ariz., at the age of 82. Hans was born in Germany on May 21, 1925.
During World War II, Hans was a paratrooper in the German Army. He was an avid gun collector, outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. For 30 years he owned and operated an art gallery and tapestry store in Sedona, and moved to St. David, Ariz. about a year ago. He was a talented artist, especially in Southwest art.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Rolf and Mary Luetcke of St. David, Ariz. Preceding him in death were his wife, Ursula, his parents, Paul and Hanne (Bick) Luetcke and a sister.
At his request, no services will be held. Contributions may be made in Hans' name to the Circle B Ranch Care Home, 465 E. Circle B Road, Willcox, AZ 85643.
Cremation under the direction of Westlawn Chapel, Mortuary and Crematorium of Willcox, Ariz."
Cremated, Location of ashes is unknown.
