Daughter of Reverend James Keith and Mary Isham Randolph, married to Colonel Thomas Marshall. They had fifteen children,; their eldest son is Chief Justice John Marshall.

Mary died at the estate of her son Thomas Jr., at Washington (south of Maysville), Mason County, Kentucky.
