Groveland - Mrs. Thelma Porter Berry, 78, died Oct. 8 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. The Bulloch County native attended schools of Bulloch County. She was a homemaker and a member of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, Pembroke.

SURVIVORS: two sons, Andrew Clark Jr. and Paul Clark, both of Groveland; four sisters, Irene P. Boggs of Claxton, Matlene P. Moody of Detroit, Cora Sheperd of Jamaica, N.Y., and Harliest Mack of Melbourne, Fla.; a brother, L.H. Porter of Groveland; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

SERVICE: 2 p.m. Saturday at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church, burial in Little Salem Cemetery, Groveland.
