Minnie Cooley was the youngest daughter of Solomon Cooley and Harriet Barber. She married Walter Watts late in life, after Walter's first wife died in 1932. Her obituary mentions that she was a member of the Kingsville Baptist Church, past noble grand of Kingsville Rebekah Lodge, and a member of the Bugby Grange.
