Mrs. Pearl Todd Davis, 92, widow of the late Benjamin Franklin "Bud" Davis, was called home to her promised reward by her loving Savior.

Born May 13, 1931 in Conway, SC, Pearl was the daughter of the late George Durham Todd and the late Blanche Stevens Todd. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and a faithful Christian woman. Pearl was an active member of Free Welcome Free Will Baptist Church. At home, she loved nothing better than keeping children and countless kids have been touched by the love and care she poured into their lives. She also enjoyed working in her garden and cooking for her family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Pearl was predeceased by her son, Larry Davis; her grandson, Randy Davis; her great granddaughter, Kara Lee Davis; her sons-in-law, Curtis Smith, Wayne Pirkle and Rodney Strickland; and five brothers and six sisters.

Survivors include her children, McLaurin Davis, Eddie Davis (Nancy), Terry Davis (Tiffany), Janice Pirkle, Carolyn Strickland, Jane Rowell, Connie Hardee (Arnold), and Judy Davis; her grandchildren, Amanda Whittington, Tammy Tompkins, Andy Pirkle, Joni Pirkle, Mary Ann Treadaway, Jason Strickland, Amy Strickland, Haley Rowell, Benji Davis, Kristie Johnson, Travis Davis, Ashley Hartfield, April Brown, Derrick Davis, Kaitlyn LaBelle, Heather Hucks, Jessie Hardee, Dustin Watson, Julie Watson, Drew Davis, and Isabella Davis; and her great-grandchildren, Justin Chaput, Zackary Chaput, Todd Pirkle, Russell Strickland, Ethan Strickland, Blakeley Strickland, Jenna Grace Allen, Charleigh Treadaway, Hunter Davis, Makenzie Davis, Lucas Mari, Brantley Hartfield, Addison Davis, Bryson Davis, Bentley Davis, Kayden Davis, Brixton Davis, Megan Brown, Adalynn LaBelle, Reagan Hucks, Chad Hucks, Brody Edenfield, Aubrey Morris, Xavier Sleeth, Elijah Sleeth, and Hayden Sleeth.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ray Cribb. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening, December 30, 2023, from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
