Adult film auteur, John Leslie Nuzzo, 65, of Mill Valley, California, formerly of Industry (Ohioville Borough), passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2010 in Mill Valley.

Born January 25, 1945 in East Liverpool, Ohio, Hospital, he was the son of the late Nick and Rose Nuzzo of Industry (Ohioville Borough). He was a 1962 graduate of Midland (PA) High School, where he developed a keen interest in the arts. He attended the Art Institute of New York. While he was at the institute, his focus turned to music and he joined the Brooklyn Blues Brothers. The band moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, and he enjoyed a successful career.

In 1975, he made a move to California, living in Sausalito and then Mill Valley. He started a career in adult films as an actor, which parleyed his extreme talent into directing award winning films. John was an avid golfer, watercolor artist, gardener and an amazing cook. He loved his wife, and pet dogs: Louie, Lucas, Febe and Jakes, passionately. He also was a fan of the San Francisco Giants baseball team.

John also was a devoted friend to many. In 1997 he re-vitalized his singing and harmonica talents with the John Leslie Blues Band. For three years, he played the San Francisco Bay Area blues scene, and produced a CD, "In the Kitchen."

Several memorials will be held honoring this multi-talented artist, generous friend and loving husband. Date and time of the memorial in Beaver County will be announced at a later date.

Information may be obtained from SCHWERHA FUNERAL HOME, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. Online condolences may be shared at
