WILSON RITES TO BE FRIDAY
Last rites will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. for J. W. Wilson, well known Jefferson county resident who passed away yesterday noon. The service will be held at the Hoskins funeral home with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The long time Jefferson county resident passed away at 12:15 p.m. yesterday just as he entered the Jefferson county hospital. A patient at the McCleary Nursing home for the past year, he suffered a heart attack on Tuesday and another yesterday morning.
J. W. "Win" Wilson, 85, was born March 26, 1865, in Pennsylvania, the son of the late John and Margaret Wilson. He came to Jefferson county when a small child and spent the remainder of his life in this community. The family home was five an a half miles northwest of Fairfield.
He was united in marriage to Velma Chadduck who preceded her husband in death on April 12, 1940.
Wilson is survived by the following children: Mrs. Charles Junkin, Fairfield; and Glen Wilson, Fairfield. Also surviving are six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. B. E. Coffman, Des Moines, and a brother, Harry Wilson, Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter, two sisters, one brother, one half-sister and two half-brothers.
