Born 18.Sept.1815 in Germany, (probably Ichenheim, Neuried), to Wendelin Schwärzel (1790-1822) and Catharina Roth (1783-1826)
24.Nov.1834 she married Johann Adam Biegert, and five children were born, (3 surviving to adulthood). After her husbands death in 1843, she married Jacob Hosch 23.Feb.1845
Two boys and two girls were born to them in Germany, (boys died as infants).
In 1852 they immigrated to America, landing at New York in November. The Hosch-Biegert family stopped in the town of Manchester, New York, until March, 1853, when they moved to Ohio. Two more daughters were born to them in Ohio.
In 1858/59 they migrated westward and settled in Lyona Kansas.
Fall of 1859 she contracted a fever, and is buried on the family farm near Lyona.
