Marvin William Arndt was born on April 14, 1908 to Samuel Franklin Arndt and Myrtle Wilson Arndt in the McAlester area of Oklahoma. He married Mary Loretta Parsons in June of 1935. Marvin was blessed with one son, two granddaughters, Jeannine Ramsey and Carolyn Null, and one great-granddaughter, Heather Knight while living.

Marvin passed from this life on November 18, 1990 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Our Poppy was known to family and friends as "Son" or "Sonny" and he always insisted his middle name was "Willy." He was a very hard working, principled man who was down to earth and honest and enjoyed the company of others with the same values.

Poppy called our grandmother "Sug" up until the day he passed. He loved his family and had a sparkle in his eye for his grandchildren. He kept us entertained with odd food choices like his daily bowl of oatmeal, crushed up sandwich cookies and a dash of tabasco sauce. We loved it and cherish the memories of him.
