There is a Headstone in the tiny graveyard of Abbey Row Baptist Church in Malmesbury. It is barely legible but the reader managed this much:
"Erected by Charles Fullaway of America to the memory of his mother Christianna wife of Thomas Fullaway who died Jan ???? Aged 67 years. Also five of their children who died in infancy." There is a lot of writing on the bottom half of the stone but unfortunately that is completely illegible.
Niece Christianna and her brother Charles Fullaway children of Thomas and Caroline Stroud Fullaway of Malmsbury, Wiltshire England came to live with the family c. 1845. Unfortunately young Charles drowned on 9 June 1850. Nephew Harry Eli Pickett ., son of Thomas and Susanna Pickett of Alderton, Wiltshire England came to live ith the family in 1867.
Christiana Fullaway and Harry Eli Pickett are mentioned in Charles' 1897 probate and the lawyer represents Harry and John McClintock, the elder , who was married to brother Samuel's daughter Frances Fullaway McClintock.
