"Carmella V. Heisler, 100, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Lancashire Hall. Her husband the late Charles J. Heisler died in 1990.

She was born in Tyrone to the late Joseph and Maria Pontranolfo Mignogna. Carmella worked at the former St. Joseph's Hospital upon her arrival from Tyrone and then for Consolidated Cigar Factory. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was an avid Bingo player.

Surviving are 2 children, Alfred J. Heisler (Elizabeth "Lucy"), Lancaster, and Carmella V. Ruhl (John H., Jr.), Columbia; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Karen, Susan and Angel Lynn; 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. The last of her immediate family, her siblings Josephine Mignogna, Mary Celia, Michael Mignogna, Frank Columbo and an infant sibling preceded Carmella in death.

A Viewing will take place Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 9:30-10 AM, followed by the Funeral at 10 AM with Msgr. Thomas H. Smith officiating, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery."
