Son of of Adeline and John Pohl. Brother of Jackie (Jack) Edwards, Delores Pohl, Howard Pohl, Russell Pohl, John Pohl, and Ralph Pohl. Husband of Mary Louise [Luse] Pohl. Father of Brenda (Frank) Skosich and Melvin Pohl, Jr., and of Bob (Evelyn) Hudson and Judith (Bob) Rocheleau from Mary's previous marriage. 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Mel was an Army Air Corp. veteran of WWII, serving in Europe, and was a long-time member of American Legion Post #143 in Auburn Hills. An electrician, he retired from GM Truck & Coach in 1979 after 32 years. He loved his family, gardening, and anything electrical. Preceded in death by his wife, son Bob, daughter Judy, and all of his siblings except his sister Jackie.
